Screaming Piha (Lipaugus vociferans) / Karanambu Lodge, Rupununi, Guyana. Screaming Piha are rarely seen, but often heard. Their call is the signature sound of the Amazon, so much so that sound editors often mix the call into movies set in tropical rainforests. Even in movies set in africa, india and australia where the bird is not found.
